A core value at Dolphin SC is that we cater for all swimmers - it's not just about the fastest or the strongest. In many cases, when a swimmer graduates our the learn to swim program, they may wish to continue to swim regularly in coached sessions but do not wish to progress to the competitive section of the club. Accordingly, we run the AM squads for these swimmers. The squads are usually differentiated into specific age-groups and abilities and swim together under the guidance of our coaches and teachers every weekend. We have GAA players, dancers, camogie experts, runners, triathletes and gymnasts all of whom like to keep their hand in at the swimming via the AM squads. Even if a swimmer does no other sport there is usually a spot for all our LTSP graduates in the AM squads.
